How they survive this isolation from society, their fundamental differences on issues, and bearing a child they name Hope is the essence of this adventure. Finally, Beth and Jeff miraculously find the way out of ZOAR II. To avoid prosecution for the AWOL not of their making, they assume new identities. Seeking a second refuge, they settle in Seaside, California.
