He was a good organizer and prob ably the greatest real estate salesman in history. He wrote with his own hand a pamphlet advertising the advantages of Pennsylvania, which was spread far and wide in translations into Dutch, German, and French. He wanted solid, trained, equipped colonists, and this pamphlet brought them by the thousands and tens of thousands.
