Book Synopsis The Impulsive Client by : William George McCown

Download or read book The Impulsive Client written by William George McCown and published by Amer Psychological Assn. This book was released on 1993 with total page 434 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The primary purpose of this edited volume is to present various theories regarding the etiology and clinical implications of impulsive behaviors. Although this is not a comprehensive anthology, we hope to depict enough diverse theories within one volume to enable readers from dissimilar theoretical perspectives to obtain otherwise inaccessible information. We believe a cross-fertilization of disparate facets of psychology to be critical in maintaining the vibrancy of our discipline through our next centennial. We hope that this volume can provide at least a small dose of "cross-specialization exposure" for a variety of psychologists and other mental health professionals.
