Similarly, there also exists a significant body of work guiding viola and cello instruction. Comparatively, double bass pedagogy has lagged behind that of the other stringed instruments. The intent of this thesis is to provide an orientation for teachers instructing bassists of varying skill levels, from beginning to advanced students.
