Book excerpt: Available online: https://pub.norden.org/nord2021-013/ In the autumn of 2020, the Nordic Council of Ministers invited a number of professionals, activists, social actors and organisations to a series of debates, with the aim of highlighting the obstacles and challenges for LGBTI people in the Nordic region. After eight debates in each Nordic country, each with its own focus, a total of 44 people shared their experiences, knowledge and thoughts about what measures should be taken in future, so that we can get even closer to a Nordic region where there is room for all of us. Journalist Gisle A. Gjevestad Agledahl has attempted to boil down twelve hours of presentations and discussions to the following seven points. What challenges do we face, and how can the Nordic co-operation solve them?
