I am from Guyana, and every time I have a party for my birthday, I like to dance with my friends. It is quite a fulfilling experience to move my body to the music beats and to the sounds of the African drums. I am always very excited and motivated when I hear music from the Caribbean and around the world. I like the happiness that dancing generates. I get to relieve myself of stress and nervous tension. I like the exercise and the burning up of calories as I dance around and sing the songs about love. I find this very exhilarating and liberating.
