Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Chapter 1 shows that the windward slope of Barbados and its terraced morphology evolved principally by wave erosion during uplift and eustatic oscillation, rather than by biohermal growth. Chapter 2 describes the interplay of erosion and limestone deposition during eustatic oscillation over a span of 700,000 years. It represents the first comprehensive field and chronologic study to integrate marine erosion and deposition with tectonic uplift rates to determine emergence values and rates of the stratigraphic and evolutionary model. Chapter 3 describes the distributions, lithology, depositional environments, and ages of the limestone stratigraphic subunits for seven study areas in southeastern Barbados"--
