For both of them. What follows, though, is perpetual war between her kids and Charlie. As a touring Psychic and Healer, Charlie entreats Maria, against her better judgment, to accompany him to places such as Mexico City and Honolulu. For vengeance, and to get his mother back home TO THEM, the boy always gets himself in trouble, like the time he stole the keys to Charlie's car and rams it into the back of a police car! Then ends up in jail to force his "mama" back home to them. Finally, after a couple of years of constant war, Maria, always in the middle, caves in to her Bad Seed and feels forced to ask Charlie to leave, even though they meet every weekend in a motel for incredibly good sex and very little talk!Excellent sex, Charlie finally realizes, was the primary force in the first place, that and his deep loneliness. But, after moving back to Houston and resuming his own form of Meditation, VISIONS begin showing scenes from their past life together back in old Mexico during the Spanish occupation. Other visions showing Maria's TWO SELVES IN CONFLICT follow, and the novel, ANATOMY OF A DOOMED MARRIAGE, becomes very meaty! This novel may be especially interesting to those who have been triple flipped out "in love", then lose their beloved!
