In the first three sections of the book, we use those photographs to illustrate some of the characteristics of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds as well to illustrate a brief discussion of their life history. In the fourth section, we provide a discussion of the care and feeding of hummingbirds and how to attract them to your backyard. The final section is devoted to a discussion of the techniques that we have found useful in creating the photographs contained in this book.
